Elevator wedges

Elevator safety component products are one of the main products we forged. We have been cooperating with elevator safety component manufacturers for many years. Elevator wedges are generally used for clutch locking and backstop. For example, when the outer ring rotates counterclockwise relative to the inner ring, the wedge is pushed and tilted, leaving a certain space between the inner and outer sides, so it will not lock Stop clutch. In other words, the wedge-type one-way clutch allows its outer ring to rotate counterclockwise relative to the inner ring at any time, or allows its inner ring to rotate clockwise relative to the periphery.

The elevator safety components provided by our company include eccentric wheel, safety caliper body, brake block, hydraulic pipe, speed limiter sheave and so on. The eccentric wheel process is chrome-plated on the surface after precision die forging and CNC machining. The difficulty lies in how to evenly distribute the 360 teeth on the outer circle and ensure that there are no defects. Before processing the teeth, the semi-finished products need to be inspected in three coordinates to ensure that the blanks are qualified. The roots of each tooth of the finished product need to be inspected by our company. Technological research and development will eventually be able to accurately manufacture gears, increase the one-time yield rate and reduce customer procurement costs.

The safety gear body is processed after forging. We use precision forging to reduce casting defects and obtain better mechanical properties. The spring buffer components are processed after the steel pipe is cut, welded with the gasket, and then externally ground. The gasket and friction wedges are carbon steel parts cast from lost wax.
